Chivalry
Day, March 31st, marks the anniversary of the creation of Chivalry-Now's
Council of Knights. It is a time for personal reflection,
renewal of commitment, personal outreach and celebration.
Members of our fellowship are inspired
to honor Chivalry Day in a variety of fashions. Most take some private
time for reflection, and to recite the 12
Trusts. A candle can be lit to represent Truth, which calls
us to the Quest.
Some donate money or volunteer their time for good causes.
While some might fast to discipline their
commitments, others feast to celebrate our movement and the Companionship
that has formed around it.
Those where climate permits this time of
year plant trees that represent the growth of our movement, and
our concern about the environment.
One need not be a Companion or member of our Open Forum to celebrate
Chivalry Day. We invite everyone to join in, if only by considering
how simple courtesy can change our entire world for the better.
Chivalry-Now is much more than courtesy, however. We invite
you to read our articles and forum discussions to become more familiar
with this comprehensive way of life.
